A vacancy exists for a phone based Sales Consultant within our clients data solutions team, based thier West London offices in Kensington Village, near Olympia. With Big Data and Data Science a hot topic this role offers a great opportunity to join the market leader in this field.

These market leaders in customer and location analytics are offering a generous basic salary of £24,000- £27,000 + Uncapped commission! You will also enjoy free gym membership and a wide range of other company benefits!

Data sales team is predominantly but not exclusively 'internal', on most occasions the full sales cycle is executed over the phone. Outbound calling activity remains the dominant KPI; however, written communication via email and social media platforms is required daily.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop consultancy sales skills alongside the opportunity to embark on a long term career in a professional organisation. You will be selling SaaS (software solutions) as well as data products and market analysis in this role.

The essential functions of the job include all aspects of the sales process, including:

*New business development via telephone, email and LinkedIn to create a pipeline of business

*Successfully meet a monthly sales quota by securing sales from both new business (majority) and account management / growth (minority)

*Consistently meet KPI's surrounding outbound call activity, quotations, conversions and other lead sourcing activities

*Take ownership of managing, reporting on and improving their own sales performance including devising and implementing sales plans

*Drive growth within their market, contribute to sales strategy and participate in the creation of sales and marketing messages

*Negotiate and close business to exceed sales targets.


Core Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:


*A 'hunter' with a proven ability to proactively generate new business (B2B)
*Self-starter, self-disciplined, results driven and highly energetic
*A very good communicator, who is outgoing and confident
*The ability to source leads and expand the sector through their own efforts
*A demonstrable track record of high sales performance
*The ability to absorb complex solutions and present them with simplicity; understand technical information and think laterally to deliver a variety of solutions
*Excellent relationship building skills
*Able to manage and support client organisations at all levels
*A real attention to detail
*Have a minimum 6 months B2B internal sales experience and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of hitting target consistently

*Educated to degree level

*IT Literate (MS Office)
