JOB TITLE: Client Engagement Manager

LOCATION: Based in multiple locations.

SALARY & BENEFITS: Up to £30K basic + uncapped commission + 25 Days Annual leave + Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme, Company Car, Mobile and Laptop.

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday - 09:00 - 17:30

Part of the Johnston Press Group, we have ownership of over 260 Newspapers nationwide, along with their attached digital platforms, ownership of job board platforms such as jobstoday as well as access to over 1500 Online Job Boards – giving our clients greater reach to potential candidates unlike any other product currently available.

And its due to the continued success The Smart List are currently looking to recruit an Client Engagement Manager to our growing team, based in multiple locations.

The purpose of the role will be to gain access to SME – Blue Chip Businesses to develop successful Recruitment Partnerships. You will be in the driving seat of the role, sourcing appropriate companies, make contact with the decision maker or head of recruitment, arrange your own weekly/monthly diary.

The Key Responsibilities;

Pro-active Business Development

Contacting Decision Makers Or head of recruitment

Arranging Client Meetings

Assessing Clients current recruitment methods and come up with effective plans to increase business and look to save our client's money and time in their recruitment processes.

Carry Out Presentations and face:face client meetings.

Communicate with and manage a dedicated Resourcer who will action and manage your clients live jobs.

Be responsible for designing and implementing account plans and strategies to meet your financial targets & objectives,

Work with sales management to identify and develop your own pipeline of business opportunities,

Forecast and present all expected revenue, to be tracked via CRM systems

The Candidate; We are looking for a highly motivated and successful Senior Sales Professional with some recruitment experience. You will more than likely have a background in Commercial and/or Specialist Recruitment Consultancy with an excellent knowledge of Online Recruitment and SEO based techniques.

We are also keen to hear from candidates who have experience in working for a Major Job Boards or other Online Recruitment Providers, although we are keen to hear from anyone from a similar blue chip background with proven sales.

As the revenue streams grow from the efforts of our successful candidate there will be an opportunity to take onboard and manage additional Resource so being able to lead by example and offer guidance to others is also essential.

Essential key skills and experience required:-

Experience of selling Recruitment Products or Solutions,

Proven track record in high volume call and appointment generation

Knowledge of developing major clients at various management levels,

Proven track record in winning new business,

A knowledge of solution based sales,

A highly structured approach to sales and account management,

Highly ambitious and driven characteristics,

Good IT skills and ability to use a CRM system,
