Science Teacher

This Science Teacher role involves you teaching within the school's high-achieving Science Department and you will be working and creating lesson plans with fellow teachers within the department. You will have a mixture of ability abled children within each class. You will be supported by a teaching assistant on a split timetable also. The Biology, Chemistry and Physics sub departments work extremely closely together, so you will be supported with planning and your own personal development throughout your time.

For this post you should be an enthusiastic and creative Science Teacher or current trainee who can show superb classroom practice and has achieved 'Good' or 'Outstanding' in recent observations. You will provide an understanding of how to make lessons both fun and effective with a happy classroom presence. You must have the skills to teach with responsibility and initiative whilst working independently and have the social and communication skills to work well whilst in a team setting.
