I am currently recruiting for an IT Administrator to work in the Revenue and Benefits team at a Local Authority in West London on a contract basis.

You will be providing technical, functional and business application IT support to around 250 users. There is a service desk aspect to this position as you will be responsible for ensuring the various IT operations run smoothly including assisting employees with any system problems they may have. Technical duties in this role include batch job management; installing upgrades; performing tests; system maintenance and dealing with system incidents.

Applicants will be expected to be conversant with Council Tax and Benefits legislation, as well as an advanced knowledge of using the full range of the MSOffice suite particularly MSExcel and MSWord – as well as experience working within a Local Authority environment.
