International Business Development Manager

We have an International business development and account management role that offers autonomy, the opportunity promote a tried and tested market leading product into the Hair and Spa sectors, across Europe. The role requires fluency in English and at least one or two additional European languages; with German being the preference. Our distributor network and strong relationships with Market Leading Brands have allowed our business to increase market share within Europe. We would like to build on our current network therefore seek an International Business Development Manager to join our growing team.You will effectively manage the business development, account management and promotional activities of our two brands and their products. As market leaders within one sector already and developing a route to market for a newly approached sector we entered in 2016, you will support, grow and develop our European distributor network. Exciting times!Your main focus will be on business growth and as the day-to-day point of contact with our overseas network; you will deal with account queries, supporting your network to sell more into their customer portfolio; which will include attending business meetings and assisting them to pitch. This role will involve regular travel throughout Europe and we would like to see you in the office once a week for a business update. We would like to think you will have at least a minimum 5 years relevant B2B business development experience, ideally within the Beauty, Cosmetics, Hair or similar sector. However, a solid understanding of working within an international distributor network is a must!The role is offering £35-40k basic salary with the opportunity to earn a healthy bonus of between £5,000 - £10,000 per annum (however this is uncapped). Car, pension, PMI and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. A very competitive package for an SME based in Kent.
