The scheme will be delivered by four of the UK leading civil engineering giants and will be fully operational by 2020. The scope of works will include topographical, environmental and archaeological surveys, construction of 70 new structures as well a demolition of existing RC structures, construction of the new A14 free flow link road, bulk earthworks, drainage & landscaping in addition to motorway communication and traffic management systems. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You’re the ideal Trainee Surveyor if you are an enthusiastic individual who really wants to get into surveying within civil engineering. You will need to be a proactive individual who doesn’t mind getting stuck in and asking lots of questions! You will need to have drive to want to progress and move up the ladder as this opportunity offers great developmental opportunities. You do not need any previous experience within the industry but you do need a CSCS card and the ability to work on your own initiative! Ambitious individuals only please!
As the Trainee Surveyor you will be required to work along side the land surveyor and assist with the day to day activities of working out how much earth needs to be removed and how much will need to be put back in. You will be working on state of the art robotic equipment, 3D scanners and drones to help produce the formal reports and models of what needs to be done.
