Role: Telecoms Field & Technical Support Engineer
Location: West Midlands / Birmingham / Tamworth / Sutton Coldfield / Walsall
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 + Vehicle + OT (negotiable depending on experience)
Experience: Panasonic / Avaya / Samsung / Unify / Hosted Telephony
Our client is a well-established telecommunications reseller involved in the installation, maintenance and support of voice and data products across the UK. The company has been trading for many years, is expanding and stable, it has an excellent portfolio of products and is a reseller on behalf of world-class telecom manufacturers such as Avaya, and Samsung.
Due to continued success there is now a requirement for an additional Telecoms Field Engineer / Technical Support Engineer to join the team. The ideal living location is West Midlands.
The successful candidate will have experience in installing and maintaining business phone systems (e.g. Avaya IP Office, Samsung, Panasonic or Hosted Telephony). The role is a mixture of maintenance and installation, mainly covering the Midlands with some nationwide travel.
Ideally you will have the following experience:
*A minimum of 3 years within the industry.
*Have knowledge of at least one of the following systems: Panasonic, Avaya, Samsung or Unify
*Knowledge of cloud based system
*Be able to install and commission a telephone system up to 20 extensions
*Be able to work on support desk
It is essential you have strong communication skills, are well presented, a team player with a flexible positive attitude and good proactive problem solving skills. The role would suit a keen, hardworking motivated candidate who wants to develop their career within an established and stable company.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm.
Engineers are based at the office (when not going direct to site). This is not a work from home position. Work throughout the Midlands area and further afield when required.
