Working on big impact projects as our new Database Manager you will be part of a team driving forward change across our organisation and in the wider Third Sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead strategies for the CRM and data insight function and a great role for someone who wants to feel challenged, make a difference and really take their data career to the next level.
Other responsibilities include:
·Working with the Head of Fundraising Operations to develop and implement a data and database strategy to support Sue Ryder’s fundraising needs.
·Ensure the integrity and quality of Sue Ryder data by putting in place data quality metrics and overseeing appropriate corrective action.
·Manage, develop, implement and maintain data cleaning routines on the Fundraising database.
·Work with fundraising colleagues across the UK, to understand their data analysis needs and make recommendations and plans to ensure these are met.
·Provide support and advice on system/data related projects and participate in departmental and cross directorate projects and meetings.
·Keep abreast of Fundraising and technology trends and keep up to date with all relevant charity law, regulations and codes of practice.
·Responsible for the line management and supervision of the Database team.
To hit the ground running in this fundamental role you will have advanced user knowledge of not-for-profit and CRM and will be experienced at Database Management across complex systems. It is essential that you have strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, using both technical and layman's terms.
You’ll be a team player with good communication skills and excellent attention to detail. You should be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders such as Fundraisers, Finance, Project Teams and Third Party Suppliers with the ability to deliver projects to tight deadlines whilst balancing other priorities.
