Care Manager - Bristol

My Life Living Assistance are a new and exciting business that are changing the way care and support is delivered to vulnerable people living in their own home, who pay for their own care.

We deliver personal care, companionship and assistance around the home. This could include anything from helping clients to get up in a morning, taking clients to appointments, to visiting the seaside with clients. Every day is different. We provide a broad spectrum of services that puts the client right at the heart of the process. Everything we do is tailored to meet the needs and wishes of our clients, and is designed to offer an unbeatable customer experience.

We are now recruiting for an experienced Care Manager to work from our offices in Bristol.

Duties will include:

To have responsibility for staff - to plan, allocate and evaluate the workload of all staff
To ensure successful operation of quality control systems
To ensure all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to and met
To ensure that all computerised and manual records are up to date
To write reports and maintain all monitoring systems
To ensure all staff receive supervision and appraisals
To ensure training needs of all staff are met effectively - implement induction programmes and identify and provide for on-going training needs
To work within agreed budgets
To actively participate in the growth and development of the business
To maintain administrative systems
To recruit, select and effectively supervise team
To maintain effective assessment and review procedures

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will have completed their NVQ4/5 in Leadership and Management for Care Services (or will be willing to work towards this qualification) and you will possess previous experience in a similar environment. Ideally you will also have a working history of business management and budget control.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and you must have a full UK drivers license.
