Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum

Duties of the Test Engineer:
Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives;Analysing requirements, create test cases, execute test cases, engage in the defect resolution process, and look for automation integration;Defining Test cases and strategy for new feature development;Mentoring junior Testers;Running Manual tests to ensure our products meet Functional as well as Non-Functional requirements;Timely and clear communication of project progress, issues and risks; andDefect logging and triage, working with developers in their resolution of issues found.
Requirements of the Test Engineer:
Understanding of JIRA and X-ray plugin;Solid understanding of the SDLC and the role Test plays in the ecosystem;Working experience in some Agile, Scrum on a web or API dependent product;Experience of testing cloud applications;Communication Skills - excellent verbal and written communication skills;Project level implementation of QA and Test best practices;Experience of working as part of a team delivering solutions to customers, on multiple projects; andKnowledge of Selenium / Cucumber an advantage.
