About Our Client

My client, a leading organisation within their industry is currently seeking an Field Sales Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This company operates from offices in Kidderminster. They have a strong team ethic and are looking for somebody to share their passion in driving the business forward.

Job Description

Based at the Kidderminster office but attending site with customers, nationwide. The Field Sales Engineer will have the ability to promote and develop new sales with existing and potential customers to achieve and exceed budgeted targets.

The role is ideal for someone with proven sales ability and the drive and enthusiasm to drive the business forwards who has previous experience within engineering, or engineering sales.

Key Responsibilities

·Achievement of Company set sales targets by maintaining and developing customer relationships.

·Ensure control of margins in given area within Company strategy, whilst maintaining and ensuring relativity between customer commercial conditions and taking appropriate action as necessary.

·Support customers in ensuring technical/service problems resolved satisfactorily.

·Implement Company business strategies as appropriate

·Identify and implement sales initiatives.

·Provision of sales information for customers

·Monitor and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support and personal customer contact visits

·Liaise with internal staff to identify and develop initiatives for sales increase.

·Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills as appropriate.

·Involvement in Company marketing activities as appropriate/necessary.

·Such other relevant duties as may be assigned.

The Successful Applicant

·Must have proven experience in a similar role

·Proven experience in the engineering sector

·You must be able to drive

Proven ability to develop rapport and generate relationships with both existing and new clients.

·Proven ability in demonstrating good customer focus and commitment

·Ability to travel o client site and measure equipment for modification and relocation

·Proven ability to work independently

·Happy to undertake ongoing training
