A well-established regional firm of accountants are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join them on a 12 month contract. They are keen to take someone on board who will thrive in the busy environment and can come in and hit the ground running. Previous experience within a payroll environment, ideally in a bureau, is essential. This role will suit an individual who has excellent communication skills and a professional and friendly manner.
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for:·Day to day administration of multiple client payrolls ·Processing manual payroll calculations·Operating RTI procedures and statutory requirements·Carrying out payroll reconciliations and analysis·Administering and processing end of year return forms – RTI declarations, P60·Using existing knowledge of pension scheme when providing administration for various payrolls
Essential Requirements are:·Experience working in a payroll bureau ·Experience using payroll software·Strong up to date knowledge of current payroll legislation, including RTI/Auto enrolment·Excellent IT Skills & Strong communication skills·Ability to work well both independently and in a team
