Fullstack Engineer (moving to CTO) - London, Python, Django, Linux, AWS, Ansible, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React/Angular).

£75-85,000 pa + package

My client is a highly ambitious B2C e-commerce start-up with high-level growth plans which will be facilitated by the evolution and improvement of their product offering & technology.

The role will initially find the incumbent as the sole technologist and their first proper permanent hire will offer you full responsibility for all design and architectural decisions, PoC/R&D for new tools and technologies and the delivery of their new platform. As the company grows they plan to hire further permanent technologists and therefore the role will evolve into a fully fledged CTO position.

To be considered for the role you must have a broad range of skills and experience across the whole spectrum from Ops to Frontend.

Essential Skills;

- Excellence and in-depth knowledge of maintaining and developing using Python/Django
- Maintain and develop websites/products using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React/Angular).
- Maintain production and staging Debian Linux environments on AWS.
- Maintain and develop Ansible build system.
- Maintain PostgreSQL database.
- Produce and help analyse reports on traffic and lead data.
- Create custom SQL queries to enable those reports.

Soft skills - prior experience of the aptitude to undertake;

- Administer various third party service accounts.
- Keep hosting costs on budget.
- Propose and architect technical solutions to business problems.
- Review technical specifications.

Bonus points for;

- Experience with ELM
- Maintain development environment hosted on bare metal
