A family owned, dynamic and well respected building services organisation are currently recruiting for a electrical engineering technician to work on a state of the art, brand new broadcasting complex based in East London. The contract has been live for the past year, however since have added a brand new data centre, press centre, theatre and also broadcasting station.

The role will be working within a team of 4, made up of a contract manager, supervisor, mechanical and electrical engineer covering a large, demanding and busy contract. The candidate will be responsible for managing planned and reactive maintenance tasks, as well as being involved with some projects as and when they arise on site. The candidate should have good experience of stripping down and rebuilding systems, fault finding and servicing equipment as much as possible before calling in contractors.

Candidates should have experience of working across; single and three phase power, emergency lighting systems, fire alarms, switchgear, LV and HV distribution (not essential), power generation, UPS systems (first line), generators, BMS systems, AHU's, FCU's, three phase motors, pumps as well as general building services plant.

The ideal candidate should have completed a full apprenticeship and have at least 3 years experience working as an electrical engineer, candidates should be smart, presentable and keen to work, wanting to progress up the ranks is not essential, however available for the right candidate.
