Refresh Recruitment are working alongside our client, a leading freight forwarding company who are leaders within their field, who are seeking to fill an important role within their Sales team. 
Reporting directly to the sales director, our client are looking for a successful Business Development Manager to join their Hertfordshire based team. 
Duties will include:New business sales canvassing.Generating new leads.Preparing presentations and quotes for new business.Visiting prospective clients in the UK.Opening credit accounts for new clients.This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven sales executive who is looking for a rewarding career within an exciting industry. Our client will provide extensive industry training, but is looking for someone who is highly motivated and driven to succeed. 
The successful applicant must have previous sales and business development experienced, ideally with an interest in European Logistics. You will be a confident communicator and be confident in making cold calls to open new doors. Due to the markets the company works in, although not essential French or German language skills would be most advantageous. 
This fantastic Hertfordshire based role offers an excellent salary and benefits package for the right person, with a realistic OTE.
