Our client is changing the way the PR and IR industry manages the life cycle of digital and social content, giving them and their teams a single news room platform to control and measure all of their content in today's digital world. Recent investment and technology development has required them to seek out a senior BDM to join the London sales team as part of a wider expansion strategy.
Supported by an office based lead generator your primary focus will be on the development of face to face relationships with new clients. Focusing on Brands, the role will be predominantly field based, understanding client's complex technology requirements and translating this into a coherent and unique solution offering. Being involved in strategy meetings you will be helping to define marketing and communications strategy so that the lead generator is pursuing the most relevant opportunities.
You are already an experienced field sales specialist with at least 2 - 5 years sector knowledge of Public Relations, gained either from an information provider, media monitor, technology or agency background. You can operate autonomously and already have a defined sales process that you can overlay with new solutions. Above all, you enjoy new business and the financial rewards from winning new customers.
On offer is a basic salary negotiable based on experience and uncapped bonus scheme. The client is hoping that this senior role will turn into a Sales managers role and therefore provide one or two career moves in the next 12 - 18 months.
