Our client, a leading electronics manufacturing business, seek to appoint a Technical Sales Manager. Reporting directly to the Managing Director the Technical Sales Manager will have previous experience of writing first draft proposals and quotations and proactively contacting customers for business development. The appointed Technical Sales Manager will need to have good technical knowledge of electronics (degree preferred) and will work alongside the technical team to better understand customer requirements. You'll be given free reign (within reason!) to target the contracts you want to work on and build the relationships you feel will best suit the business. A market leading commission scheme is in place to reward success.

Technical Sales Manager - Role & Responsibilities - Sales Director / Electronics

- Write first draft proposals and quotations
- Contact customers by phone and face to face to promote and sell the full company product range
- Liaise with field engineers and partner companies to better understand customer needs
- Create and follow sales plans for business development and revenue growth
- Work closely with the Managing Director to understand client needs

Technical Sales Manager - Skills & Abilities - Sales Director / Electronics
- Proven track record in a technical sales or business development role
- HNC or degree preferred in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills, good written and verbal English
