Resource / Project Planner


£25,000 - £32,000

  • This is a key role within a growing business who design and manufacture special purpose machinery.
  • Excellent opportunity to make this role you own and to progress through the business.
  • Required - an excellent communicator who is used to planning/managing projects across the business. Organisation skills are very important.

Reporting directly into the Lead Project Manager, this person will be responsible for managing the day to day forecasting for engineering and production areas. You will ensure departments are delivering accurate forecasts and meeting the expected project performance indicators.

Experience Required:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Previous experience within a similar planning role (Production scheduling / MP&L scheduling, Logistics planning etc. all would be considered).
  • High Level of PC literacy. Experience with MS Project or a Data Management System will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Ability to analyse and translate complex or detailed data into simple brief reports highlighting key areas within resource planning.
  • Strong positive can do attitude.
  • Strong team player.
