Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Programme Team Manager for Performing Arts & Media to join the team based in Brooksby on a full time, permanent basis. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £31,471 - £35,596 per annum!

Our client is a specialist vocational Further and Higher Education provider in Leicestershire spread across two main campuses providing education for approximately 1500 students. The College received a “Good” Ofsted judgement in November of 2012 and has a challenging strategy to grow and further improve over the next five years.

As part of this journey both their campuses have undergone a £27.7m redevelopment, bringing new facilities and improved environments for all their students and staff, including specially designed facilities for Performing Arts & Media students, combined with their Professional Theatre and Film Studios.

The Programme Team Manager for Performing Arts & Media Role

The college is seeking to appoint an experienced manager for their highly ambitious and well regarded FE & HE Performing Arts and Media department. The area was recently praised by HE external examiners for the excellent practical outcomes their students produce with the support of their very dedicated staff teams. As Programme Team Manager, you will be required to lead teams and individual staff members, providing vision and direction for growth that will enhance the already strong position of the area.

You will provide robust academic leadership and decisive management in the planning, development, delivery and monitoring of high quality curriculum programmes. You will be fully aware of funding changes and challenges in the FE and HE sector and have a creative and pragmatic approach in meeting these challenges. A proactive approach is essential in partnership working that builds additional opportunities for students in work experience, vocational enrichment and progression.
