My Client who is a well established Lender based in Stockport has an excellent opportunity for a Digital Sales Manager.

This is an exciting, new position working within a fast paced commercial lending department.

It will suit someone with strong digital skills and experience of customer experience/ sales improvement.

The key purpose of this role is to deliver an outstanding service to new and existing commercial customers, maximising all sales opportunities that originate from the website in order to meet targets/ KPIs, ensuring that customer lending requirements are met and satisfy all stakeholder expectations.

The Role:

  • Support the design, management and optimisation of digital sales journeys, using data driven insight to drive customer experience improvements, increase conversion and grow sales volumes
  • Actively manage a sales pipeline from the website ensuring that customers receive the required contact, updates and cases fund within the desired timeframes
  • Support the development and delivery of specific sales journeys/ plans, working with the wider Digital, Product and Marketing teams to achieve commercial lending targets
  • Exploit the ability to generate and convert leads from and to other channels to drive increased lending, lower costs and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Understand the digital sales processes, pipeline and opportunities. Aspire to best in class sales funnel performance using benchmarks from both Financial Services and other industries
  • Support the creation and optimisation of product content on the public website to engage commercial customers and drive lending applications
  • Rigorously test and learn with an emphasis on continual improvement of customer sales journeys, using analytics, A/B testing, multi-variant testing

Skills and experience required:

  • A background in digital journey management
  • Experience of working on website projects as a business owner/ product manager
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Strong planning and organisation skills
  • Strong business analysis skills, confident in using data and insight to optimise digital journeys
  • Experience of working within Financial Services and/or commercial lending would be advantageous
  • Experience of telephone sales/ webchat would be advantageous
