About The Role:

The purpose of the role is to manage and lead the plants technical team to ensure the safe and efficient running of all the plant’s production equipment and building services. The position will provide the skills, knowledge and vision needed to achieve world class performance in safety and maintenance of the sites assets.

The Production Engineering and Maintenance Manager will report into the Plant Manager leading a small engineering team to ensure all plant, equipment and services are efficiently developed and maintained. In addition there will be a strong project aspect to the role leading Capex Engineering projects, manage the PPM schedule, monitor the Manufacturing KPI (OEE – Overall Equipment Effectiveness) of site equipment, procurement of spares and monitor energy usage. This role will also lead and promote continuous improvement.


Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Leading a small engineering team ensuring all plant, equipment and services are efficiently developed and maintained.
  • Lead Capex Engineering projects, manage the PPM schedule, monitor the manufacturing KPI’s (OEE) of site equipment, procurement of spares and monitor energy usage.
  • Knowledge of the Budgeting (control) and CAPEX process
  • Knowledge of manufacturing KPI reliability systems

  • Qualifications:

  • HNC Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is essential
