Project Accountant, Kingston-upon-Thames, 6 months £30-40K (dependent upon experience) plus benefits

As Project Accountant, you will be responsible for reconciling a highly visible, multimillion dollar customer program with a large globally recognised customer. This role will be involved with resolving current accounting issues, performing in-depth analysis and ensuring transactions are accurately reflected in our ledger and properly billed. The ideal person will be familiar with project accounting and change control procedures. This role may also assist in reporting and analysis investigation and other special projects with the local finance team. You will be a self-starter, able to work with limited supervision and collaborate with colleagues in other countries.

Required Experience & Skills
Part Qualified or Qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Familiar with project accounting and change control procedures
Strong reconciliation experience
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively
Able to demonstrate Initiative, proactivity, enquiring approach, resourcefulness
Adaptability, ability to embrace and respond positively to change;
Analytical and investigative skills, logical reasoning and problem solving skills - individually and collaboratively
Able to work under pressure, quickly learn and work with new processes and systems
Integrity and assertiveness when dealing with complex and business critical issues
Able to maintain quality work whilst meeting strict deadlines
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX would be advantageous
