As a Field Service Engineer, you will:
To diagnose, maintain, and install transport surveillance systems.
To work on other transport systems as required - eg. telematics.
Completing required diagnostic, maintenance, and installation work on transport surveillance systems.
Carrying out work planned by the Area Engineer.
Assisting Engineers/Senior Engineers with their workload.
Answering phone calls from the office and Senior/Area Engineers
Responding in a professional manner to any e-mails received or other communication.
e-mailing all service paperwork to the office by 10.30am each morning.
Communicating with all customers / Garage Engineers in a professional manner.
You will be:
Great with customers
Good technical skills, preferably with an electrical bias
Good IT skills
A good communicator
A strong team player
You wil have worked on vehicles previously and have some knowledge of vehicle electrics
Base location is your home address - located in or around Brighton
Work locations will be at customer premises, typically working through the night - it is a 4 on 4 off shift
