Location: Strixton, Northamptonshire (near Wollaston / Wellingborough) 
Job Title: IT Apprentice / Software Support Apprentice 
Type: Fixed term contract, 12 months (with potential to become permanent employee) 
Salary: £8k per annum (apprentice)

About the role: 

As an IT Apprentice you’ll be providing support to EasyWeb’s technical team in managing, maintaining and developing the Applicant Tracking System software we offer to our customers. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of areas that include software development, customer support, training and documentation. 

Eventually, we’d look for you to develop to the stage where you’re able to manage customer implementation projects. Both of our past technical team apprentices have gone on to permanent roles within the team and we’ll support you to achieve an industry recognised IT qualification. 

About you: 

The ideal candidate will be confident, intelligent, highly motivated and an excellent communicator. Strong attention to detail and the ability to plan and organise multiple projects are also essential skills. We don’t expect you to have experience programming, but we do expect you to have a keen interest in technology and understand the principles of how software and internet-based technology works. 

You might be a recent school leaver who has decided not to pursue university education, but, whatever your background, you’ll be happy to explore new software and be looking develop your skills and career in a software environment.
