Legal Assistant - Conveyancing
Due to the departments continuing success and expansion, my client now requires a Legal Assistant within the Conveyancing Department for a Departmental Assistant.
The successful candidate will provide general administrative and secretarial support to the department across a variety of tasks and responsibilities, adhering to strict quality and compliance guidelines. Duties may include providing an initial point of contact for new enquires that come into the department, typing of letters and documents, organising diaries, collating of information and research, contribution and support of the business development & marketing agenda in terms of social media and blog writing and provide support to other Legal Assistants and Lawyers generally within the Department.
This is a varied and hands on role that would suit individuals who work well under pressure and with multiple tasks of a differing nature, who enjoy organisation and the efficient self-management of one's time.
Experience of a legal background is an advantage but not essential and on the job training will be provided.
- Experience of working in a solicitor's practice in a similar administration role
- Fast and accurate typing with a minimum speed of 60 wpm. † Ability to input information quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Key
- Providing an efficient and supportive service to the Clinical Negligence Department.
