Job title: Architectural Assistant part 2

Location: London

Job type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Negotiable based on experience)

As the selected candidate you will work on a variety of residential, commercial and educational medium and large scale projects. This position will see you join a team of enthusiastic and highly skilled individuals assisting in the production of design works throughout all stages of the project. You will use existing knowledge of relevant design software and apply you own design skills to assist in fine detailing throughout all aspects of the project.

Our client is an award-winning architectural studio who serves a range of building types across various sectors. They pride themselves on working closely with clients and communities to respond to their needs and meet client expectations and requirements. With an increasing workload, they are now looking for an Architectural Assistant to join their fast-growing and talented team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar position and relevant qualification (Qualified Part II)
  • Good design software skills (AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Revit)
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction planning and building regulations
  • Good design and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and use own initiative
  • Good communication and time management skills to meet deadlines and requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience after qualification as part 2, working on projects within the residential, commercial and educational sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for the selected candidate to develop their skills in an established practice and through working with employees who are technically skilled with a wealth of experience within the industry. Our client is offering and an excellent salary package based on experience for this permanent, Basingstoke based role.
