An international leading law firm is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Legal Clerk to work within the Real Estate team and provide secretarial and administrative support. You will need to be dedicated to client service, proactive in your approach to work and willing to complete any task to the highest possible standard.

This varied and demanding role will primarily involve:

  • Diary management, travel arrangements and meeting coordination

  • Administrative duties such as filing, archiving, scanning and printing

  • Handling internal and external telephone queries, taking messages and ensuring communication is passed on efficiently

  • Monitoring of emails and post

  • Pre-empting absences and arranging cover

  • Operating the case management system

  • Collating information required for new sites and updating the portals with the relevant documentation

  • Managing land registry applications and liaising with the client

  • Billing and financial management

  • Ad hoc duties and supporting the team when necessary

The successful Legal Clerk will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A flexible, proactive and hands-on approach

  • Administration/Secretarial experience
  • A refined telephone manner

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office

  • Able to work well within a team

  • Dedication to client service

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines

  • Ideally exposure to a legal environment
