Business Development Executive / Internal Sales - The Company

Our client, based in West Nottingham, is a successful distributor for large format printing and imaging technology and due to continued growth they are seeking a proactive and target driven sales person to drive new business forwards.

Business Development Executive / Internal Sales - The role

The role is to build new business by gaining new customers through promoting new and existing brands to targeted accounts and instigating sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Research prospects using all available media including internet
  • Proactive engagement with prospects in order to identify & create new business opportunities
  • Create and complete a high volume of outbound call activities within specified timeframes
  • Provide management with market feedback
  • Compile sales reports and distribute as instructed
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Deliver against set targets and campaign objectives

  • Strong commercial sense
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Be self-motivated as an individual but also be able to work within a team
  • Self-starter with tenacity, resilience and resourcefulness
  • Understand the market and competitors
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Good numeracy and writing skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems essential

Our client offers a basic salary of £18k plus achievable OTE of £3k per annum.
