Break into Prison Healthcare!

If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding Pharmacy Technician role and want to develop your Pharmacy skills in an environment where no two days are the same then this could be the new job for you! HMP Guys Marsh is a category C training resettlement prison, taking adult males aged 21 and over and an operational capacity of 570+. HMP Guys Marsh is situated in Shaftesbury, Dorset. Care UK is the Health in Justice Market leader, providing healthcare services to offenders across the country. Our model of care is our Wellbeing Approach – an integrated, comprehensive approach in recognition of the fact prisoners are a socially-excluded group with healthcare needs which are complex and often associated with poor outcomes. It adopts the premise no single health/wellbeing factor can be taken in isolation of other motivational issues which might impact a person’s care. We are working with the current healthcare provider at HMP Guys Marsh towards a seamless transition to us and in April, the existing well established team will transfer across to us. To ensure the continued quality of care at HMP Guys Marsh, we’re looking for a Pharmacy Technician to support us and the existing team in this new venture.
