CER Education are recruiting for a creative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work at a Secondary School in Liverpool. You will be required to provide in class support to designated students across the whole curriculum. We are looking for candidates who are flexible and adaptable and have good numeracy and literacy skills.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with children in a secondary school. Ideally you will have experience of working both on a one to one basis, and with small groups doing intervention work with struggling students. You will need to work closely with the classroom teacher to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities. As well as having excellent behaviour management skills. This is a great opportunity to join a committed school team.

To be considered for this role you must:

* Have experience supporting children in a secondary setting
* Hold a Level 2 qualification in childcare or equivalent/higher
* Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary School Staff
* Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
