Growing Cheltenham based company requires an IT Support Analyst to understand and support all IT and technical solutions provided by the company to ensure continuing smooth IT operations. This is a great opportunity for someone keen to develop their IT support experience further and it is a fun and fast paced working environment.

Main tasks:
*To monitor and resolve IT support helpdesk tickets to the satisfaction of users
*Undertake system administration tasks such as password resets as requested
*Provide accurate and timely business solutions to basic reporting and development requirements from users
*Provide overall support for software/hardware used by all employees
*Keep track of IT licences
*Take responsibility for keeping the IT Asset Register up to date
*Work closely and maintain good relations with a variety of IT partners
*Actively monitor and react to system performance, make necessary changes and long term recommendations to ensure IT capacity stays ahead of business demand
*Actively monitor and react to system security performance, make necessary updates and recommendations to ensure data integrity and system security is not compromised
*Contribute to an effective Disaster Recovery plan
*Provide support for printers in conjunction with third party supplier
*Understand and support the telecoms system as used by the business

Skills and experience required:
*Highly organised individual, able to prioritise workloads efficiently
*Strong communication skills and excellent approach to customer service
*Strong listening skills and an approachable, can do attitude
*Good attention to detail
*A good all round team player who is self motivated
*Experience in a similar IT support role
*Strong working knowledge of desktop applications - in particular Microsoft Office, Outlook, internet browsers, FTP
*Excellent skills in Excel
*Strong Microsoft Operating System knowledge
*Experience of Microsoft Exchange 2010
*Good experience in performing hardware and software installation
*Administrative experience in managing of IT hardware, purchases, existing stock, hardware inventories
*Awareness of software licensing regulations and compliance

Salary: up to £22,000 plus some benefits
