C# Unity Developer / Games Developer

If you are passionate about developing the latest 3D Applications and Augmented Reality solutions and want to develop cutting edge solutions for some of the UK's leading brands then we have a great opportunity to work as part of the games development team producing high quality 3D applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Activities:

  • Working with Unity and other development platforms to produce 3D applications and supporting applications
  • Implementing interaction mechanics and UI
  • Prototype new concepts
  • Creating game scripts and storyboards
  • Apart from the above you are required to adhere to the compliances and all policies of the company
  • Reviewing work and taking part in brainstorming sessions
  • Quality testing applications in a systematic and thorough way to find problems or bugs and recording precisely where and how the problem was discovered
  • Work with designers to create a fun, exciting, and unique experiences for end users
  • Documenting your work
  • Performing effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Required Skills:

  • Good programming ability with C# and other scripting / programming languages
  • Experience with the Unity development platform is a great advantage
  • Firm understanding of basic computer graphics principles
  • Good understanding of mathematics
  • Document and explain your work clearly and effectively
  • Handle constructive criticism
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Work on your own initiative
  • Passionate about their work
  • Good communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Adaptability (able to pick up new skillsets quickly and be flexible with what tools you work with)

Advantageous but not Necessary:

  • Experience with source control
  • Experience with writing shaders
  • Skills in asset creation tools such as Adobe Photoshop, 3DS Max/Maya
  • Scripting languages such as JavaScript, lua, python etc.
  • Experience with Visual Studio
  • Physics
    • Physics principles
    • Differential equations
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Path planning
  • Agent architectures
  • Decision-making systems
