Superb opportunity to join this full service Film group that is already established in the US as a market leader and employer of choice and is looking to looking to set up their international operations in the UK.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director you will be a true commercial business partner acting as a bridge between the sales & finance function supporting the former on all aspects of business development eg deal analysis, due diligence for acquisitions, investment appraisals , financial modelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update project collateral reports for Finance based on completion of sales contracts
  • Work closely with Commercial Finance Director to prepare international ultimates, overages, sales fee and expense reporting
  • Invoice distributors for Minimum Guarantees, box office bumps and overages
  • Track payments, make collections and maintain detailed collections report for financial reporting
  • Generate and maintain cash flow models based on incoming payments and overages for productions and third party projects
  • Create and reconcile project specific and film market budgets
  • Invoice distributors for marketing, publicity and delivery expense reimbursements
  • Liaise with Accounting and Participations with respect to incoming and outgoing payments, collections detail, potential refunds and allocations, media exploitation dates and residuals allocations
  • Maintain international output calculators and generate sales and loan summaries
  • Manage on-going analysis and auditing of output and distribution agreements (i.e. Output Summary including Pic Caps, Aggregate MG Caps, Min/Max Budgets, etc.) and conform financial models
  • Work with Legal to generate Output Picture Certificates, Production Cost Statements, Credit Allocation Memos, Tax Documents and issue to distributors based on contractual obligations
  • Generate models for international guaranty proposals and project related initiatives
  • Create weekly international box office reports for Management

Required Skills:
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical proficiency, including significant financial modelling capabilities
  • Exposure to the film finance and /or distribution, media sales essential
  • Effective team player with the ability to interface with various levels of management, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of International Sales model and relevant accounting principles
  • Accounting qualification preferred but not required
