Electrical Control & Instrumentation Technician - Days Based

Days Based

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 + Pension + Overtime

The Company

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s largest energy suppliers in the UK. They are a company specialising in the supply of electricity to the National Grid on a contract basis, therefore the recruitment of an EC & I Engineer is crucial to the continuation of this supply process.

The Role

You will need to be a time served engineer with an electrical, controls and instrumentation bias and have medium to heavy electrical experience. If you have worked on DCS and SCADA systems, this would be a great advantage. Also able and willing to work on a variety of process systems, for example two-stream plant houses, with boilers designed to process waste, all linked to the supply of 25MW electricity. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising efficiencies. The successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
