Workshop/Service Engineer job near Ashbourne. £27k. Days shifts. Some travel required both UK and overseas

This growing company specialises in offering bespoke and niche equipment for moving heavy items in all different manufacturing industries. These include nuclear, food and beverage and aerospace they have seen massive increase in orders over recent years and continue to grown at a fast rate. A position for a Workshop/Service Engineer has been made to help keep up with this increase in demand.
Your new role
You will be working from the company workshop assembling new equipment ready for sale to customers. You will also be required to service existing equipment that is sent in for repair or maintenance. You will be required to attend customer premises to train and install equipment as and when required. Your main base of work will be in the company workshop but will be varied day to day.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a background in engineering having worked on both mechanical and electrical equipment. You will have a recognised mechanical/electrical qualification. Experience working in production or service and repair of machinery would be desirable. You will have a keen interest in fixing and the mechanics of various machinery such as agricultural or construction equipment.

You will be paid a competitive salary based upon experience and background knowledge. You will be entitled to 32 days holiday and be working Mon-Thurs 8:30-17:00 with an early finish on a Friday.
