Sales Development Rep - Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospective clients and develop new business opportunities
  • Engage with high level executives/managers/decision makers within prospect accounts to present business solutions
  • Close business to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Negotiate prices and contracts with customers in accordance with the businesses commercial strategy to deliver maximum price yield
  • Plan and implement strategy for achieving business development and growth targets
  • Use internal resources and be highly proficient in demonstrating the products
  • Engage in all campaign and promotional activity to increase the volume of sales in the portfolio at the targeted profitable level
  • Customer focussed and engage the rest of the business to resolve customer queries and issues
  • Ensure market intelligence is gathered and fed through the wider organisation
  • Develop and build contacts at all levels within the prospect / customer base

Sales Development Rep - Required Competencies:

  • 1+ years’ experience within a business development / account management focused role
  • Track record of selling SaaS based solutions
  • History of success within the IT Sales industry
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative to ensure targets are achieved
  • Ability to make decisions in line with business, customer and client needs
  • Consultative sales experience within a business to business environment
  • Proven experience of achieving individual revenue and key performance targets
  • Proven negotiations skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
