We are looking for an experienced project accounting professional with expertise in project accounting / construction to join our team in supporting the Cross Rail works. The is position will be within our Rail Automation business.
Will be ideal role for someone looking for continue learning and development and grow their career within Siemens.
What are my responsibilities?
?Provide information to enable Project Managers to control project spend and risks.
?Preparation and consolidation of additional services.
?Production of monthly project reports, including update on cost of sale, revenue, billings in excess, EBIT and balance sheet items.
?Prepare monthly cost forecasts and variance analysis.
?Assist the Commercial manager on SOX compliance issues.
?Ensure all records are maintained to an auditable standard.
?Carry out month end tasks including the raising of journals, accruals and prepayments, ensure correct project margins being shown in SAP.
Proper understanding of the IFRS 15 within the Construction Industry.
?Monthly analysis of WBS and cost centres to ensure correct cost allocation.
?Coordination of invoice approvals.
?Preparation of monthly invoices for standard maintenance and any additional services.
?Ensuring queries from the Customer are dealt with accurately, timely and in a high standard.
What do I need to qualify for the role?
?Proven experience within a Finance/Assistant Project Accountant/ Project Accountant role.
?Good knowledge of SAP/Spiridon is an advantage.
?Excellent Excel and general IT skills.
?Ability to interpret and apply accounting and other relevant guidelines.
?Result and quality driven with attention to detail.
?Good numerical skills
