Our client, a thriving practice are looking to recruit a Legal Accounts Cashier/Head Cashier to join them. This is a key role in terms of providing accurate, timely processing of cashiering duties to ensure that service levels are achieved. Duties will include;

•TT/CHAPs payments via electronic banking
•Processing client and office account payments
•Processing client and office account receipts
•Placing client money on and off deposit as required
•Completion and review of bank reconciliations on both office and client accounts, with additional work required to produce monthly reconciliation files
•Ensuring adherence to SRA Accounts Rules and International jurisdiction equivalent at all times

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

•Experienced Legal Cashier
•Excellent attention to detail & numeracy essential
•Good communication and customer service skills (with the ability to be assertive when necessary)
•Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a good team player
•Excellent data input/IT skills
•Excellent knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
•Good knowledge of VAT rules
•Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a challenging fast-paced environment

Salary guide £25000 - £30000 with onsite parking
