SEN Teacher - Autism
Principal Resourcing are looking for a SEN Teacher to work at an excellent school based in Pontefract. The school are setting up an on-site Autism unit in September and are currently recruiting for staff.
We are specifically looking for someone with experience working with Autism who is comfortable teaching a range of subjects along with a variety of age ranges.
The role will commence in September and will last for a minimum of a term with a possibility of going permanent.
- Based in an affluent, rural area
- Very popular school to work at, with good behaviour
- Have a seperate base dedicated to Autistic students
- Cater for students aged 10-21
What you will require:
QTS - essential
Experience of working within a SEN environment
Ability to teach across the curriculum up to GCSE/A Level
- Proven knowledge of the National Curriculum including Early Years model and the impact on pupils with Autism
Be able to build positive relationships with students
