The School
This school is a modern primary found in Hillingdon and is accessible via West Drayton Station on South Western Rails. They are looking for a special LSA from September to work 1:1 with a Year 2 pupil who has Speech & Language difficulties.

This is an ‘Outstanding’ Primary school that was awarded 1’s in every category at their last inspection! The school is ideally located near to the town centre and there is good parking available. It has fantastic facilities and a friendly and vibrant staff atmosphere. The Senior Leadership team is excellent and they understand the value of good graduates and have constantly used graduates for their TA and LSA positions within the school.

The LSA position they need filling immediately is very unique one which they are hoping to fill with an ambitious graduate with an interest in Special Needs. The new LSA will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with a female pupil in Year 2. The child is very bright and enthusiastic but sometimes can be and has been challenging..! The student is verbal so there is no need for PECs and Makaton experience, although this will always be an advantage. What the Head really wants to find is a LSA who can be firm but fair, can think on their own feet, can improvise and adapt on a regular basis.

If this sounds like you then we would love to hear from you. The head is fantastic and is willing to support you by making sure you get involved with the school’s Psychologist and Speech & Language Therapist.

SaLT Teaching Assistant roles like this are the perfect way to test yourself and develop your own approach. Work 1:1 with a pupils in an advanced Hillingdon primary School, click Apply Now and send your CV to Eoghan Caldwell at EduStaff now..

Please note: due to the volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
