Openstack System Engineer

Openstack consultancy looking for Openstack Engineers at different levels of experience to design build and implement Openstack environments for private and public clouds, implementing Ceph storage clusters, automating the environment’s using Jenkins, Puppet or Ansible. There is also more of a support role where you will be supporting, monitoring and expanding the capacity of the public cloud where you can get your hands on a large production environment Openstack cloud that is only going to grow with your help.

As an Openstack Engineer you should have the following:

·Hands on experience with Openstack

·In-depth configuration management, automation and scripting skills including use of a scripting language such as Python proficiency with shell scripting (e.g. BASH)

·In-depth knowledge of platform and application automated deployment. technologies (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Puppet)

·Exposure to continuous integration and build tools (e.g. Jenkins)

    Strong knowledge of Linux based systems.
·A passion for open source technologies and the open source community.

·Drive for growth and progression within your career

The role of an Openstack Engineer:

·Building, Designing and implementing Openstack cloud.

·Expand the capacity of public cloud which is currently sitting at around 500 nodes.

·Maintain an understanding of industry trends and how new technologies can be leveraged to meet business objectives.
