Premium Credit is the leading insurance premium finance company in the UK and Ireland. Due to ongoing growth and plans to bring our support function back onshore, we’re now looking for a Junior Technical Support Engineer to join our team.

As a Junior Technical Support Engineer, you’ll provide day-to-day support to users of Premium Credit’s multichannel interaction platform. 

Primarily, you’ll ensure that production systems are online and all development, test and support systems are available to use. 

Our platform is comprised of many applications, so you’ll be involved with application support, maintenance and implementations, as well as helping to produce detailed Management Information (MI) on service availability. 

Additionally, your duties will involve: 

- Working with the Technical Service Manager on complex faults or issues 
- Identifying the root cause of incidents 
- Helping to prepare release documents 
- Scheduling and testing third party provided upgrades 

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need experience of the following: 

- MS Windows server management, ideally including the building of servers 
- MS Hosting, preferably including SharePoint and/or Dynamics 

Hands-on and focused, as a Junior Technical Support Engineer, you’ll have a pragmatic approach and a keen eye for detail. You’ll also be a positive self-starter with strong communication and relationship-building skills. 

Knowledge or experience of the following would be beneficial: Footprints, SCOM, OMS, App Dynamics, OpenText (formerly HP) Exstream, Dynamics 365, Scribe, Team Foundation Server, Unfuddle or Selenium.
