The SF Group are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our client in the centre of Lincoln on a permanent full time basis. The hours are flexible and the client is offering between hours per week.
As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the Financial Accounts in the accounts department reporting to the Financial Accountant. The main aspects of the role will include assisting the Financial Accountant with preparation of VAT & Corporation tax returns, fixed assets and other statutory return requirements.
You will be expected to support the efficient functioning of the accounts department and participate in the reporting processes. Previous experience of working in an office environment and previous involvement in reconciliation work is essential. Previous knowledge of VAT and Tax would be advantageous and a high level of attention to detail is also required. You will have excellent communication skills, a good working knowledge of Excel, be AAT qualified or studying professional diploma level with a desire to progress. Training will be offered for further development.
