Technical Training Specialist to deliver external training to our clients - both at our Clients offices and at customer sites (this may involve some travel within the UK and abroad).Strong preference is to have this individual based from our clients Teesside office but failing that - we may consider suitable individuals from Aberdeen or the Central Belt who would be happy to travel to the North of England on a regular-basis.

·Salary: dependant on experience

·Working Hours: 37.5 per week M - F 08:30 - 17:00 however this may vary based on the operational needs

·Candidates must have a strong track record of delivery of internal and external technical training and will likely have a technical background (mechanical/hydraulic).

·Specifically, technical trainers with experience of delivering Small Bore Tubing (SBT) and Flexible Hose Assembly (FHA) courses would be of great interest but this is not an absolute essential.

Purpose of job:

Support the Group Training Lead in developing and implementing internal training to meet the competence requirements of the organisation.

Support the Group Training Lead in the development and delivery of external training to meet customer requirements.

Support the Group Training Lead in ensuring effective delivery of the required levels of performance related to Training targets, objectives and KPI’s, whilst fostering & promoting a continuous improvement culture.

Key areas of responsibility:

·Ensure that all learning activities are developed, delivered and assessed in accordance with the defined LCMS (learning, competency management system) process as defined within the ISO9001 (2008) standard.·To deliver internal and external training in line with our clients HSE, Quality and Training standards ensuring that all processes and procedures are reviewed and are fit for purpose in accordance with the defined policy and objectives.·To ensure the implementation of innovative training solutions and effective learning evaluation processes to measure the quality and effectiveness of internal and external training programmes, in the context of continuous improvement

·Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practice across the organisation. ·Provide guidance and support to the organisation in relation to specific learning and development requirements, including internal verification of competence where applicable.·Ensure that all training activities are executed as per the requirements defined within the HSE, Quality and Training management systems.

·Continue to support and develop new training materials in-line with customer feedback, customer needs and continuous improvement, to ensure that the quality and content of our clients training meets the required performance expectations and standards.

·Establish and cement strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation including our key external customers.·To provide the Group Training Lead with the required flexibility to deliver to customers global training requirements and our clients internal competency requirements

Experience and Key attributes:

·Experience and strong track record in delivery of internal and external technical training to a high standard.

·Specific experience of delivering Small Bore Tubing (SBT) and Flexible Hose Assembly (FHA) courses would be desirable.

·Demonstrable track record of achievement in meeting personal training and competency objectives.

·Experience and strong track record of achieving continuous improvement and increased efficiency and effectiveness in the context of best practice in learning and development.

·Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver innovative solutions in the context of continuous improvement.

·Strong communication skills to achieve the stated purpose of the role, with the ability to clearly communicate and engage with the wider organisation.

·A clear understanding of the importance of accountability in the context of compliance with learning and competency management system processes, procedures and defined standards
