The Logistics Coordinator will administer the process of new vehicle acquisition on behalf of our customers, managing this task by monitoring and liaising with the group and our Nominated dealers and third party suppliers. Administer timely arrangements of end-of-contract vehicles ensuring the most cost effective collection option is utilised.

Endeavour to exceed Customer expectations by professionally managing tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Obtain from supplying Dealer estimated vehicle delivery date of the Customer Order, supply confirmation of order to customer. Maintain appropriate records, monitor progress and provide customer order update on a weekly basis.

· Identify any Customer Order which is likely to exceed the estimated delivery date and take appropriate action to expedite any delay soonest possible. Ensure that ALL involved parties are fully informed regarding progress being made.

· Order ALL necessary items which are required to complete the process

· Obtain final verification from the supplying dealer that the Customer Vehicle Order is fully complete and available for delivery; arrange same directly with the Customer.

· Ensure that end-of-contract vehicles are all correctly accounted for. Any vehicle NOT returned by due date to be logged and correctly authorised to remain with the Customer.

· Arrange collection, inspection, service/repair and valet of Customer owned and or surplus vehicles. When complete offer vehicle to Customer and arrange delivery to location as directed. Ensure necessary customer charges are communicated to the accounts team for recharge.

· Receive enquiries (verbal/written) from our customers, company vehicle drivers, dealers and third party suppliers in a courteous and professional manner. Offer guidance and assistance as necessary.

· As part of the customer service team function ensure ALL incoming telephone calls are answered within our 3 ring (7 second) policy with the standard greeting including use of your name. Ensure all calls are dealt with in an appropriate manner.

· Good knowledge Computer systems with particular regard to all Microsoft packages.

· Good geographical understanding of the UK.
