My client, a well-established independently owned company, are looking for a customer focused Motor Claims Handler/Negotiator to join their team due to company expansion.

Purpose:

To confidently liaise with customers, partners, clients and third party's to ensure that all claims are dealt with in an effective, timely and cost effective manner, and maintain the best level of service for all parties.

The Role:

  • To manage an allocated weekly individual caseload of claim case files.
  • Taking or making telephone calls from/to customers in relation to their motor vehicle accident in a prompt manner ensuring FCA compliance on all calls
  • Promote and sell company products to the customers
  • Liaise regularly with customers, suppliers, partners and insurance companies to analyse and review ongoing cases, whilst ensuring compliance with insurance industry rules and agreements.
  • Input and process information accurately onto internal ICT system.
  • Make contact with customers and suppliers to resolve queries and challenges that might be raised by the insurance companies including taking witness accounts, DVLA and MID enquiries
  • Build effective and robust relationships with all key contacts and colleagues
  • The candidate:

    Experience working within a claims handling environment would be desirable, however a proven track record in a customer focused role, professional attitude towards customers at all times and desire to provide exemplary service is a must.
