Brewster Pratap are currently recruiting a Head of Sales for a UK based business with their Head Office in Doncaster. Due to the current Sales Manager leaving the business they are recruiting for an experienced Head Of Sales to drive the sales team forward, develop the UK sales strategy proactively seeking growth in line with agreed revenue targets and to lead and motivate the sales team within their sister company.


- Formulates a robust business plan that will deliver volume, sales and profit commitments across selected channels of distribution with the ability to diversify due to market trends.
- Lead on the identification and reporting of business opportunities in target markets, maximising new business development opportunities with both existing and new customers, developing client relationships and representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events.
- Monitor activity across the UK Sales team against key performance indicators (KPI), utilising this information to help formulate and implement recommendations that will achieve the most profitable outcomes whilst supporting sustainable growth within the business.
- Form a close working relationship with the Managing Director and other Senior Managers within the business area.
- Forecasts sales expectations and monitors market pricing structure.
- Understand market trends and shifting customer requirements
- Pro-active communication with Technical, Development and Operational teams regarding market needs encouraging a harmonised strategic approach.
- Ensure the objectives of the business are met, providing adequate opportunity planning and reporting to the Managing Director.
- Responsible for the organisational structure of the UK Sales Team to meet the objectives, skills and targets required to assist deliver the strategy.
- Motivate, manage and mentor the UK Sales Team to ensure sustained lead generation activity and efficient and effective account management and business development functions are in place.


- Ability to motivate and lead a successful team.
- Strong business acumen, demonstrable commercial capability and applying this experience through shaping a robust UK Sales strategy.
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels internal / external
- Ability to create a vision and translate this vision into measurable action plans
- Ability to manage and set targets and incentive schemes.
- Ability to coach, lead and motivate successful teams.
- Commercial and Financial Experience.
- Industry and product knowledge in keeping with the current product portfolio.
- Proven Sales & Marketing Experience

- Ability to deal with sensitive & confidential matters as necessary.


Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience, company car, pension + other benefits
