Associate Town Planner
We are seeking an ASSOCIATE TOWN PLANNER with 10 years or more experience to join our client in their South East London office.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a new office locations from its infancy but with an established client based, with Partnership opportunities available.
You will be Degree qualified and also must be MRTPI qualified.
Our client is a specialist firm of Chartered Town Planners with several offices in the U.K. They do a wide range of duties for both public and private sector clients.
Our client is expanding and seeking people at various levels.
You will be either an Associate Town Planner with a relevant Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Planning & Development or similar relevant degree and you must be chartered, MRTPI qualified.
You will deal with all aspects of town planning consultancy for many major clients across the South East and South West.
You should also be able to manage a team and to supervise and mentor less experienced planners.
You will also ideally have experience working at Associate level for a known practice and be able to lead the office in business development, networking, fees and other management duties etc.
Our client works on a good range of services including:- Planning Appraisals & Advice, Certificates of Lawfulness, Pre-Applications Submissions, Heritage work, Planning Applications and Appleals, Strategic Development Planning, other Development Consents, Enforcement, Public engagement, CIL/Section 106 obligations, Environmental Assessment etc.
It is essential that you have excellent communication and client facing skills.
You will be joining a small team with an established client base but in a new office loations and will help to expand this office.
A full UK driving licence and own car is essential.
Salary in the range of £60000 to £80000 for an Associate Planner plus pension contribution, health insurance, dental cover, optical cover, critical illness cover, death in service benefit etc.
