Children's SEN Team leaders & Support Workers
We are looking for Team leaders & Support Workers for a Children’s residential home in the Oldham Area of Lancashire. We are working exclusively with a children's home provider who are due to open a new home near Oldham. This will be a large home offering residential care and education to children who have emotional, social and behavioural difficulties (EBD).We are looking for Team Leaders who are at least Level 3 qualified who can clearly demonstrate leading a team. It is important that you have a background of working within a residential home and ideally working with children who have complex needs. If you have worked with challenging behaviour, this will be a distinct advantage. You will be required to manage a team while on shift including rotas, staff appraisals, care plans, liaising with external agencies and general management.What are the benefits/hours of a team leader? -Competitive salary of £19,000 - £21,629 per annum. -3-week rota including 1 weekend out of the 3.-days 8.00am – 16.00pm-evenings 14.00pm – 22.30pm-Candidate must be prepared to work 4 sleep ins per monthWe are also looking for Support Workers The role is to support the children inside their home with their daily activity plans. Some of the children can display challenging behaviour so we are keen to recruit people with a calm and positive manner.It will be beneficial if you have experience of working within a Care environment, however we will look at applications from people who have limited experience but have the right personality and drive to work in this type of environment.What are the benefits/hours of a support worker?-Competitive salary of £16,300 including an enhanced sleepover rate.-Various hours available including days & nights.
