Brief Outline:

National Business Development Manager - Waste Brokerage - £40K - £60K - National Coverages. We are looking for an experienced National Business Development Manager to help grow our portfolio with clients in the Retail sector.


About the Client:

We are a recycling and waste management broker that has been trading for 20 years, we provided total waste management solutions to businesses across the UK. Our relationships with customers are invariably longstanding and cover a range of market sectors including manufacturing, logistics, food and hospitality, retail, events, property management and blue-chip offices. My client is looking for an experienced National Business Development Manager in and around UK.


About the Role:

This role includes a variety of tasks and responsibilities including:

* Develop relationships and profitable new business opportunities through the sale of new and existing services from the client's portfolio to new customers.
* Maintain strong customer relationship to make them the first choice for their waste management requirements.
* Preparation of customer quotes and tender responses to a deadline.
* Work with Group Sales Director to formulate strategy and cost models for development opportunities.
* Whilst this is a Senior Sales role we are looking for someone who can step into a management role in the medium term


About the Candidate:

You must have the following experience:

* Knowledge of the Waste market is essential
* A brokerage background would be desirable
* This role would very much suit a solution-seller, someone with the commercial acumen to identify new business opportunities and efficient, cost saving solutions for the client.
* At least 3 years comparable B2B experience
* Have a proven success record of consistently exceeding sales target.
* Previous experiences in managing large national accounts
* This is a role that will see plenty of traveling across the UK so you should be willing to have occasional overnight stays away from home.
